Today went from playing music with a guy who speaks only Japanese in an old church, to walking across a mountain. I faced one of my biggest fears, as the path across the mountain is not only steep, but also unpaved and there is a lot of NATURE. That means insects, flying things and a lot more. I made it, though I nearly lost it when a falcon flew right over me.
Finally made it to an ancient citadel and then into Buti. Decided to stop for lunch at La Grotta, a restaurant I used to frequent, and had lovely Spaghetti allo Scoglio. Though some of the mussels were sandy. Yuk! It was yummy and then a walk back to my house was in order. Enjoyable outing, I would say.
This was followed by some resting and making up with my landlady. Now, misunderstandings happen, but there was a massive one between us, and all of this because of cultural differences, not even linguistic ones!
Nevermind, that is sorted.
Yeah, so done a lot today. Feeling good for it as well!
