I was just scheduling a few posts for the Music meme and somehow ended up with Requiem for a dream, well, the soundtrack.
I don't wanna post much about this here, just the film as such. I haven't seen it in years. I have only seen it twice. I have never been able to sleep after it. If there is a movie that I get fully immersed in, that sucks me in, that is it. I feel physically and mentally beat just hearing the music. I have cried and vomited after the movie. And yet, I would say it is probably one of my most favorite movies ever.
It is not a film to be taken lightly. I am too afraid to read the book. I am too afraid to watch it again. But here is the end scene (it won't embed). I wish I hadn't watched it. Better get off here now.
